Why green waste shouldn’t go to landfill
Green waste in landfill breaks down without oxygen and produces methane. Composted properly, the same load becomes mulch and soil. We separate green waste from general rubbish and deliver it to licensed green waste and composting facilities, in line with EPA Victoria guidance. It’s the difference between waste and a resource, and it costs you nothing extra.
When your council green bin isn’t enough
Most Melbourne councils collect a 240L green bin fortnightly, and some offer bundled branch collections a few times a year with strict size limits. That works for routine mowing.
